My name is Yousef, I am 26 years old, from Gaza. Before the war, I worked as a ceramic tiler, building homes and bathrooms with my hands. I had dreams of a simple, dignified life. But everything changed when the war began.

My family and I lived in northern Gaza, but we were forcibly displaced, leaving behind our homes, neighbourhoods, and everything we had worked for. Today we live in tents, crowded together without proper shelter, struggling each day just to survive.

I come from a very large family. My parents, who are elderly, are with us. My mother suffers from a painful herniated disc in her back, and every day is a struggle for her. I have many brothers and sisters – most of them married with children of their own – and together our extended family includes dozens of people. We are all trapped in this nightmare, cut off from food, clean water, medicine, and safety.

Before the war, our family life was full of joy, laughter, and hope for the future. Now, we are besieged on all sides. We have no future to plan for, no home to return to, and no means of survival except for the kindness of others.

This campaign is to help me and my family secure the basics of life: food, clean water, medical care for my mother, and shelter to protect us from the heat of summer and the cold of winter.

Every small donation makes a difference. Even $10 can help provide a family with food for a day. Your support will help us hold on to life in these impossible conditions.

From my heart, thank you for reading our story and for standing with us in our time of need. Please share this campaign if you can.

With gratitude, Yousef and family
